·         Technical knowledge of propagation materials, equipment and methods.

·         Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·         Proficiency with Ms. Office and databases.

Ø Ensure plant material is initiated as required by the company and ready for production as required by manager.

Ø Monitor plant materials in all areas of lab and in all stages throughout the tissue culture process.

Ø Monitor work areas daily to observe plant conditions.

Ø Report findings to micro propagation in charge.

Ø Suggest ways to improve plant quality, process & procedures.

Ø Run trials to determine highest efficiency of process and procedures, media, systems.

Ø Maintain database for all trials and experiments.

Ø Use statistical analysis of data to provide evidence of improved process and/or plant quality.

Ø Stay up to date on industry, new technologies and work to implement into current system.

Ø Observe greenhouse crops and recommend inputs.

Ø Investigate new crop opportunities for both tissue culture and greenhouse.
